Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good luck for NYE WW - good times often come when least expected!

I knocked out a couple of races yesterday at Mallory race circuit that put me into the mid-60's:

1 mile @ 65.05%
10K @ 64.03%

Bit gutted with the 10K time (even though it was a SB by 10 seconds) as another 7 seconds would have got me that third 65% for the year and a corresponding '65' standard. Will have to settle with the 64 'Cape Hunting Dog' for 2019.

Well that's not a bad end to the year Weath.

I'm pleased to report that powered by sossidgz, sossidge rolls and red whine I managed a 62.95 WAVA at Ely NYE10k.

Conditions were excellent as were the sossidge rolls.

Well done on everyone managing to post a 60+ WAVA in 2019.

May 2020 have more reports of 60+ 'ers and also those that nearly miss. They are both immensely pleasing and dissatisfying enough to post about.

Nice work WW and a great way to sign off 2019.

You do now have me thinking more about food than 2020 targets however ... ! 😁

I got over 60 several times in 2019, with my three best all over 63. Been using the reverse calculator and I don't need to do *too* much more to push over 65

Managed 66 at 5k, 65 at 5 miles and 62 at my one and only 10k race.
I would have taken that at the beginning of the year. Well done everyone!

What really helped me of course was.... having a birthday in the middle of the year ;-)
