Me too gg! I've been barefoot running on my beach too inspired by your Vibram running. I think it helps me to recover from longer runs if I do a bit of barefoot and sea running to finish.
We can see if we can get a few miles in before/after plus plenty of chat!

Sounds blissful would love to be nearer the sea not much chance of full barefoot in the fells haha. How about a bit of a run first then chat over cake after?

Was a bit quiet towards the end of the year, but that was due to not running, won't be targeting 500 this year but running without targets might actually help me run more.

Hope 2019 will be good for everyone!

Fee free to pop along Matt always happy for a chat

Dragged my sorry self back to club tonight cannot believe I got myself in such a tizz about going back. Joined the slow run group and could easily have done the next group up despite my cold making a comeback. 7.5m total puts me in top 10!!!

I’ve got a cold too, but after coughing all night actually had a great run at parkrun this morning with no walk breaks. Hope you make it to your club run.

Turned foot at Parkrun, tried to keep going but too sore to run, discretion ruled at end of first lap.

Been checked out, just a sprain, 4-6 weeks before I'm trying to catch up on my mileage - plenty of time to catch up though.

About This Thread

Maintained by geordiegirl
*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
