Glad you liked the Yard Act release, Joops. I like it very much and if anything, it's better live.

Definitely not turned Jazmin Bean off half way through. Remind me a little of a cross between Yeule and Let's Eat Grandma, who I love πŸ™ Nice x

Hey VD πŸ‘‹ (that doesn't work great with your username 🀣) welcome aboard.

I've listened to Yard Act. Won't again. May have appealed once I think. Last Dinner Party didn't do it for me either though is filed under may listen again. Probably won't though, there is enough I do know I like....

Apologies LindsD, you dont need to onow if I don’t like something, there is plenty enough music for me to be positive about.

Yard Act is amazing.

Triplet Dad
I've recently dug my old exercise bike out of storage and I've been getting in a lunchtime cycle on my home working days while listening to an album.

I've been rotating between Yard Act, Nadine Shah, Gruff Rhys and Idles which are all very good.

My knees and hips definitely prefer the shorter albums.

About This Thread

Maintained by McGoohan
As a spin-off from Joopsy's excellent Albums of 2022 thread fetcheveryone.com/forum/albums-of-2022-62537/ this is a new thread where we commit to listen to one new album a week in 2023. Allowing a couple of weeks off for life commitments etc, that's 50 albums in the year.
EDIT - new and improved (i.e. exactly the same) for 2024
