Big Moon are probably my current fave band. I've seen em three times live now and they are absolutely great live.

Been poor at listening to albums lately, but just started on V by Unknown Mortal Orchestra. It's not quite grabbed me as much as some earlier albums, but still quite a lot of interesting sounds. Will give another couple of listens before final judgment.

Giving Albert Hammond Jr a blast and its quite fresh and poppy so far with some guitar noodling. Its a 19 track double album though which i think doesn't normally transfer well to streaming... We shall see.

Saw a bit of Unknown Mortal Orchestras Glasto set on the telly but it didn't make me want to rush and listen to the album

The Necks are playing Cornwall.... runs around screaming... the Necks are playing Cornwall!!! Woooo. I have my ticket already. Everyone at work has been queuing electronically for Foo Fighters tickets (except me) and I was like hmm if there was only a gig that meant as much to me, as Foo Fighters do to everyone else... and then. Pow!

Also diving into the new Swans one. Loving it, as ever a challenging but fascinating trip through one of the most deranged minds in music.

Track The Beggar is good if anyone wants to dip a toe in.

Track The Beggar Lover (Three) is a 44minute meandering opus that includes at one point a twisted and sinister recital of the children’s rhyme ‘Knick knack paddy whack….’ Probably one for the fans 😁

Yep, I struggled big time with the Swans album. Hadn’t listened to them before but just found it a bit too challenging
