Weean
It was German week at our local Lidl recently. We missed out on the weisswurst and sweet mustard, but we did manage to pick up a couple of cans...

30. (can) Lidl Festbier 5.5%. I'm not sure what the opposite of a crisp lager is (smooth? full-bodied? creamy??), but this was that. That aside most lager generally tastes the same to me anyway.
31. (can) Lidl Wheat Beer 5.0%. Not a patch on that pint of Weihenstephan I had earlier in the week, but it beats a lager any time.

I heart weisswurst. Our Bavarian friends introduced us to it years ago. I have hazy memories* of a number of breakfasts...

*always hazy on account of the traditional beer accompaniment

I'd go for "malty". A nourishing, malty, lager.

Never let your white sausage see noon, as they say down that way.

Innes and Gunn lager. Token session IPA (Downstream). 30-ish? Must get that consolidation done.

Another weisswurst fan here! I might pop in to Aldi just in case...

I'm taking Jamie to rugby training tomorrow. Lidl is just about next door.

Had a delivery from a local brewery today. Day off but did have to join one Zoom meeting I couldn't really skip bearing in mind how much I've been moaning about the folk involved not communicating well enough.
Guess when my crate turned up...

Anyway, the can of Smokevurks I'm currently drinking takes me up to 28 different beers from 20 breweries for the year.

Hertford Tiger
Today reached no 50

A very nice bottle of Lansdown from Bath Ales. A west coast IPA. Moderately strong at 5%. Really enjoying this one

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
