Never had anything I didn’t like from Bath Ales and Lansdown is a goody, right enough.

These are from yesterday, it's taken me a wee while to feel up to recording them...

32. (draught) Hop Kettle North Wall (4.3%) - a very fine best bitter, but not as nice as...
33. (draught) Goffs White Knight (4.7%) - a pale ale, this was just lovely. Due to a mix up at one point there was also...
34. (draught) Lost & Grounded Sunset People (5.4%) - an American Pale which I would happily drink again, but not as nice as the White Knight.

This evening I’m drinking cans of Guinness Original. I prefer it to the cans of “draught”.

Congratulations Hertford Tiger! First over the line? I think you should have a pint to celebrate.

The best Guinness,if you could call it best, is the one with yeast in the bottle. I would think it is not the modern 'original' though. I would hazard a guess you can't get it anymore. I used to Brew with cultivated yeast from Guinness.

Nigerian Foreign Extra Stout for the win. Actually, I have a bottle of that in the kitchen. I like the West Indies Porter, and it's a MUP drink up here.

Rather annoyingly we ordered a pint of each of the two beers on in our nearest pub last night and I went for one that is already on my list - if I had had the other it would have been a new one for my draught/cask list.

Luckily a couple instead tonight to add to the cans/bottles list though
17 Saltaire Breadwinner 4.4% (appears to be brewed exclusively for Morrisons)
18 Wychwood Diceman Stout 5%

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
