I started doing a 2019 challenge with my twins. 1 chinup and one press up on 1/1/19, 2 on the 2nd etc. So far so good!
I reckon if I can get up to 20 of each and stick there I'll be happy.

One strategy that's helped me is to:
- do a small number (feel like you can still do more) - rest completely (1 minute minimum, even 5 minutes, or 30 minutes) - do a small number again (maybe the same number, so make sure the first lot was small enough) - rest, repeat
Can do this interspersed with other things, such as household chores, before and after brushing teeth, etc.

20 would definitely be impressive Nellers! When I was doing chinups regularly I probably could do about 10 at a time.

JCB, indeed I tend to do the press ups with a load of other core stuff
