Darn it, got to wait another week! Indeed, I'm going to the Anniversary Games next Friday so still got something to look forward to (complete with a whizz down the slide). See you at Brathay.

Nightjar, having done the 10-in-10 you obviously know Brathay Hall better than most... do you think we'll be able to park in the grounds for the day tomorrow, or will I need to park in Ambleside and jog to the start? See you tomorrow.

Hi Nelly, maybe too late to be useful. There is an amount of parking at the hall. I had assumed we could use it but then SS will be taking the car about I think so it wont matter for us probably. I'd say you should be ok or if necessary there is some space on the road at the bottom of the drive I think.

Fizz :-)
Ben is going to be doing Pontefract parkrun tomorrow. So are we (purely coincidence, but a very happy one).

Anyone else taking part in the Marathon 401 Virtual Challenge? You get 7 days to do whatever distance you chose and I'm hoping to run the whole 26.2 miles finishing on the 5th when Ben does his 401st but not going to push it and wreck myself as still got a few races to do this year facebook.com |

We are. We'd already booked a B&B. So we'll be in Bristol.

I am DQ - planning to do the whole distance if my various niggles hold up, there's a few of us from my club, and a few other local clubs planning to do it next Sunday.

Fabulous! Ben got a PB at Bournemouth Marathon today - marathon 398! He really is an inspiring guy. After seeing him almost in tears and in so much pain in Aberdeen all those months ago, I am really pleased to see him so close to finishing his challenge. |
