Yesterday I had the pleasure of running the Bedford Half marathon twice with Ben Smith who is running "...401 marathons in 401 consecutive days around 309 different locations of the UK. The aim is to raise £250,000 for two fantastic charities, ‘Stonewall’ and ‘Kidscape’. Both these charities work tirelessly to combat bullying in our schools and society." It was pretty quiet on the second lap. He's a really nice guy and I thought this is something that Fetchies are pretty good at getting behind and supporting. I'm sure he'll be somewhere near you soon

I really wonder... getting on for a quarter of the way through, and almost 7% of the donation target reached. The link between enjoying yourself/undergoing hardship and someone else giving money to charities is one that's fully missing from my brain though, so who am I to judge? |

Really impressed. He's going to be in my neck of the woods on Friday. Looking at the route he may have a problem going along the riverside as it is a flooded down there at the moment so I have messaged his HQ to let them know the situation and offer any help.
