Just playing with plotting routes around Stafford and came up with this offering... http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-1750439 As far as I can tell it is all on good surfaces, small roads or roads with pavements. My first effort had a few horrible looking bits of main road. Needs another .2 miles or so. Grateful for any feedback. |

I'm sure that would be fine NJ. Good work  I'm sure he'll be delighted with the hills too? 0.2 miles can be covered easily enough? Now we just need to find some peeps to run with Ben?

Ben is from my running club. Great guy and an amazing cause. The amount of effort he's put into the planning and organising is mind-boggling, almost more so than the actual running bit ;-). Great to see him pass the 100 mark and I'm sure he'll go all the way. I'm hoping to join him for one of the final marathons when he returns to the Bristol area.

Only spoke to him briefly at the Bedford half. Would liked to have done the second round with him but smashed myself too hard in the race. He seems like a really nice chap and very sprightly too! 100 marathons in 1 season is pretty good going

Well I have sent a message in via the 401 site regarding Stafford. If anyone can review the route linked above it would be appreciated (especially anyone local to the area). Would be embarrassing if Shugborough park turns out to be private.
