It's a new year and Ben is on his way up North (this being a relative term). The list on the right is updated. Thanks Nightjar. For some reason I mistakenly thought Ben will be in Warrington on Friday, which I can't make, but Thursday may be possible.

LOL. I'll be working on Thursday, but I've spoken to the running club who are hosting Ben and know where they'll be at lunchtime so hopefully I'll be able to join them for a few miles.

Just back from running 2miles with Ben. Unfortunately they were a little behind schedule, probably because of the number of selfies being taken (:-0), so I couldn't run with him for longer. There was probably about 15-20 people with him, so I only had a brief chance to chat to him, but he seemed a really nice guy. He's also decided to come back to Warrington in April, instead of Leigh, so hopefully I'll get another chance to run with him then (or the day after Manchester marathon again in Manchester).

It looks like Ben is short of company for his run on Sunday in Leeds facebook.com surely there's a few Yorkshire-based Fetchies who could help him out?

I ran with him on Monday in Morpeth. He really is an amazing inspirational guy. On Monday he had a good number of people with him, so quite sad to see on his Facebook page he was running on his own a couple of days later up in Bamburgh. There are loads of ways anyone can help: running with him, providing washing, sports massage, food, and sponsorship of course. Please, please help him, he is a week away from being half way through his challenge and has just covered 5,000 miles!! Come on all Fetchies - we can help! |
