Lol, I know you always say you hate rain Gobi, so we’ll done for the 5km effort in the poor weather.
No run for me this morning, having given blood yesterday thought I’d best give it a miss.. I posted on the 100 mile a month page that our club is doing a virtual version of the 1, 2, 3 and 4 mile race series we normally have over the spring/summer. I did 7:05 for the 1 mile last Friday, but could only manage 15:12 for the 2 mile yesterday. One of the guys I sometimes train with ran 7:17 for the mile, but 15:04 for the 2, so we’ve got a little mini-competition for the next two “races”.

Shorter baby speed session for me today. 1 mile warmup, then about 6 x 50m, then jog cool down. Didn't want to break anything and see if my legs remembered how to run quickly...they do, nothing broke, so will start doing a small weekly session of fartleks or something speedy.

I've been running each day just in case there comes a time when I can't due restrictions or illness

I'm just ticking alone so another 8 today(my long run), 4 and a bit hours of running this week again. I don't/won't run every day so Friday this week was a big 0

Glad we can all still do the running, well done, all!
I managed a tiny little 2.5 this morning. I am now at my Mum's in Yorkshire for the lockdown duration, and had forgotten just how vertical my home town is. The next few weeks are going to provide some excellent hill work.
Think it's interesting to see how much has changed around here. We don't normally get out and about much when we visit. My old primary school is now a housing estate, and a couple of mills have been flattened so they can build another load of housing.

DocM, I'm with you on that...just balancing the running every day's effects and taking it one day at a time.
