Busy weekend so many posts to catch up on - probably missed loads but well done on the HM Nellers - sorry the time wasn't what you hoped for, but that's still a very respectable time! Garfield, well done on the Cabbage Patch 10, under 2 hours very good after your recent spate of illness, and Toks, a very happy birthday, and well done on marathon 71! :-)

My friend did her first ever marathon at Leicester yesterday, even though she said she didn't really have a time target she was hoping for under 4:30, did it in just under 4:27, very happy for her!

Didn't run yesterday as did quite a bit on Saturday, including first XC of the year - wasn't too bad as not too muddy. Felt really weird not running on a Sunday!

Lawn has not been mown all year here either (Mr J's one and only job around the house, and as I hate gardening I refuse to do it).

Well done to Jenny’s friend and for a first marathon that’s a good peg in the sand.

I’m on holiday. No running but lots of walks planned.

Happy birthday Toks! Thanks Jenny for your comment and well done to your friend on the first marathon. Have a great holiday WW!:) Currently suffering from DOMS in the glutes, a couple of bruised toenails and a small blister. It's been 10 years since I had a blister, so I'm not doing too badly!

Nice one Wobbler. But will you beat Wainwright and actually get to the top of Helm Crag.

8 miles run ( twice round the perimeter of center Parcs) followed by full English. No storm damage to report.

Life is good.
