Sitting in the garden enjoying warm sunny weather. October seems to be better weather wise than August!

Watford Wobble
Bottled it Fenner's. Too blowy and unsteady on my feet. Nice walk though. We thought about going onwards but 6.5 miles trail is enough for us.
We have spotted a red squirrel from our bedroom.

With #1 son we parked north of Grasmere, walked up Steel Fell, then Calf Crag, Gibson Knott and then Helm Crag. I did summit the howitzer but Daniel was more sensible!

Fenners that sounds like a good hike. I have run 8M with 3x10min @ threshold pace - tough but done - St. Neots training now... 4 weeks....

Ranned yesterday afternoon: 20 mins easy, 6 min max effort, 20 mins easy. Glute muscles ache this morning but they will get a good stretch this evening at class.

Nice splits Neilio. A certain satisfaction to those numbers.
Our walk today had reduced elevation cause we’re not as young as we use to be. The weather at the Lakes has been ideal.
Red squirrels seen a plenty.
