Most of you wouldn't like to know what I'd like to weigh... I think I'm a little less than 8 stone. I'll find out tomorrow when I have my health check for work.

Weight is irrelevant....
BMI is a crude device that easily portrays a wrong message for an individual.
Percentage body fat, that's a different matter :-)

Don't worry, I spent years deceiving myself with other measures. :-)
Our capacity for finding the evidence to suit our beliefs is amazing :-P

P.S. Is it really likely to be that bad? Or is it just the idea of someone using a tape measure and skin calipers to take measurement while you stand around in your shorts :-P

Oooh. Bit jealous of that :-)
I've got access to calipers (and the training to use them) and have had reasonable results with Skulpt for purposes of being less intimidating.
But, I'd love to have a play with the big toys too :-)

When I lost weight for Southampton my clothes fit me differently and the scales confirmed I'd lost weight.

I think at a pure mechanical physics level losing weight has got to be a good thing (for racing)?

Carrying a stone, in weight, less for fifty miles has got to equate to a fair bit of energy no longer required?
