1.24 mile warm-up then 24.4 miles @9:30 minute/mile pace. This training lark is fun.

I may have worn a number for the initial 11.7 miles as part of the Turing Trail Relay, I was last (and loved it). :)

Struggled this morning. Breathing was a bit laboured at first which might have been due to the sniffle or just the pace. Then my legs gave out. Had planned on 18 but had to cut it short.

Go Toks!

Well done,Toks and everyone else running today!

Ashby 20 done this morning. 1 mile, then 2 x 9 mile undulating laps, then back up the first mile. Found the first lap very hard work, and almost dropped out at the end of it, but the second lap proved to be much better. No medal for this one, instead you get a hoodie - an astonishingly bright red one this year, and a cheese and tomato cob (roll/bap). Very blustery, though handily the wind helped push us up some of the worst hills.

Roast chicken for tea, which was very flavoursome.

Well done Toks.

Had chicken for tea last night, but not roasted!

In pain this morning. Legs are complaining and I have a sore back where my running belt has chaffed.
