Sounds sensible westmoors - hope you feel better by the weekend for the long run. Gobi, hope you feel better soon too.
Club run last night, did a nice steady 7 with some newbies (couldn't persuade anyone to join me on the longer route). No running today - Welsh class all day, then seeing Peter Hook and The Light this evening with MrJ and some friends from the club.

Morning All. 11.5 miles parkrun sandwich run this morning, very slow and steady ahead of the Ashby 20 tomorrow. Lovely to see all the daffs out and blossom appearing on the trees, you'd almost think it was spring.
Best of luck to everybody racing this weekend, run like the wind, or, in my case, like a small asthmatic hedgehog.

Morning, still no racing for me.
Thirty minutes static followed by one hour .
The run was strangely brisk for the effort exerted.

A chap at Bournemouth parkrun was celebrating his 100th Marathon today. Great achievement!
1st again in my age group today at Bournemouth parkrun to follow up 1st in my age group last week. Hungover, very windy and tired legs so pleased with 19:53.
I'm putting up racking in my garage today and I'm rubbish at anything involving tools. Wish me luck.

Managed to get my long run in today with a park run 'sandwich' as Luton was celebrating its 100th park run. Not exactly sure of my time but was ok after a fairly speedy 10k run to get there, then 12.5k return, a bit slower but still at a good pace.
