Hi all! Ran to Leic Vic parkrun, timekept - good grief, it was freezing, couldn't stop my hands from shaking! - then ran home very slowly as it took 2 miles for my legs to thaw out. Was Corby pr cancelled, WW, or did it just not happen for you? Go for a run tomorrow, Doc, it's always the best answer.

Did Cardiff parkrun, it was both wet and freezing, still haven't warmed up yet. Quickest time of the year so far though.

Were you running faster to keep warm, jennyh, or to get to the end quicker so you could get warm? I was impressed by the winner at our parkrun wearing shorts and a tiny t-shirt, how did he not freeze to into a solid ice block?!

Corby parkrun went ahead but we stayed in bed JK. I think with the weeks events and Quadzilla we needed the rest.

I reinstated the guttering at one corner of the garage. Fizz has commissioned the new tumble drier.

Just caught up with the erudite discussion going on here.

As a very old lady I still recognise Sunday as the first day of the week.

The International Standard for dates and times wasn't published until 1988.

I reckon that most people in UK who now think of Monday as the first day of the week do not follow the rest of the ISO ie: today is 2016-02-13
