The start of the week is Sunday. For heathens and teachers they believe the start of the week is Monday as this is the day they go to work. Monday is the start of the working week unless your a nurse / doctor or online delivery driver when there is no such concept as a weekend.
My opinion is based upon the liturgical calendar.
Furthermore, pizza should only be eaten on Thursday and fish on Friday.

This particular heathen is going with the International Standard on time designation, ISO 8601, a globally agreed system which clearly states that weeks start with Monday.
And cake is always good anytime, as DocM points out.

Sossidgez can be eaten any time. I'm not sure about mince and dumplings.
I guess that's why parkrun is on a Saturday Gobi as its not a race?

You cant start the week with a racing or lazy Sunday and a big roast dinner - you start the week on a Monday morning, with good intentions of abstaining from alcohol, eating healthier food and exercising more - then by Sunday night you go to bed and get up with the same intentions again for the next week ............ or is that just me?
