You are far from an imposter Steve, ok for reasons out of your control you won’t reach 1000m, but you continue to show up and do what you can. There is more to running that random targets - be it pace or distance. You show and share your experience and that is invaluable. I know I’m only a small line away from being ill or injured (twice today I’ve been very close to being hurt leaping on and off a boat) so while the going is good I’ll keep going but supporting others always is way more important.

Glad to have you guys around whatever the ‘weather’ x

GG & FF, congratulations on reaching or reaching for 1000 miles. In a couple more runs I shall reach 100 miles - yes that's about 3 miles per week! I started to gradually build up to running again at the end of April, and now I am managing to do a colossal 9-10 miles each week. Wow!

As you know nine or ten miles a week running is more than a big chunk of the population ever reach Evangel! It's great to see you getting back .
Thanks gg.You be careful leaping on and off that boat!

Feeling ok today but after having no food to speak of over the last 36 hours I'll recommence my efforts tomorrow. Hope everyone had a decent few days running over the holiday.

Evangel, its really good that you are making a comeback. It's bound to be a slow process building up the mileage, but perseverance is the key.

Sorry to hear about your stomach problems Steve, that can be very debilitating. Take it easy tomorrow if you get "back on the road"

This morning was the usual Tuesday Farmers Walk.

Has anyone got any races coming up? A couple of my friends have entered the GNR. I will be following their progress on the app.

I think it should be hs! I always jump off facing the line of travel yesterday I foolishly jumped off ’backwards’ can only be grateful of my core strength to keep me upright then getting into the boat missed the step and grateful I was holding the rails. It’s a dangerous game 🤣

9-10mpw is low for what you did but a great rerun to consistency Ev

Take care Steve you are right in the wars as my nana used to say. Sending healing vibes your way.

Just been onto mortgage adviser about renewing my parents mortgage here’s hoping they come down a bit before renewal. And glad ours have a couple of years left on it. I am going for a run and glad it’s ‘free’
