Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Great effort scottdog. I do fancy a go at endure 24 or a similar run. We have Saturn running which do a looped race do as many as you can in 8hrs.

I am glad your injuries held up and hope you recover well.

Well done to everyone else too.

I didn’t run yesterday, can’t run tomorrow & failed to get out this morning combination of being shattered after the weekend, needing to be at work early to prep for a difficult call to kick off an ethics investigation (nothing sinister) and just not feeling it. I have 20m to get in by Sunday I may nip out after dinner tonight although a 4.30am alarm may mean I don’t.

Thanks GG. Some of my club mates do the endure 24. I won’t be doing anything like this again. I can honestly say it’s the hardest thing I have ever done. Running through the night totally exhausted was totally soul destroying. Luckily I had my family who were supporting me and they ended up doing some laps with me. My 15 year old son ended up doing 19 miles in total.

Turkhish, the farmers walk is tomorrow. This morning was an 8 mile trail run with two running friends, but strava only shows 7.45 as I forgot to restart watch twice

Well gritted scottdog! Different strokes..my wife loves running through the night, God knows why but it's never adversely affected her.

I hope your wife recovers quickly Evangel and that covid didn't hit her too badly.
Good distance hs...the perils of the buttons on the watch!
No running on the near horizon for me, still feeling ugh, certainly not a mild illness. Have lost weight and worse still...miles towards the 1000 which I had hoped of completing nice and early!

Health is more important than a target Steve. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Good to hear from you again Steve, I was getting a bit worried not hearing from you for several days. Sorry that you are still feeling rough, but good that you are not contemplating running again until you are feeling better.

Thanks, I enjoyed yesterday's run, as I seemed to have recovered from Saturday's parkrun struggle.

Usual Farmers Walk this morning, and now catching up with the chores, as it is cooler today.
