Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This morning was the 70th and last not a parkrun in the forest with Sarah. Not as quick as we wanted, but we are both running 10k's next weekend, Sarah the Eastleigh 10k on the Sunday, and me on the Saturday in a solo road club challenge. Today's time was 27.57 and my Vo2 max has increased from 49 to 51 which is in the top 1% of age and gender categories. I'm really pleased ๐Ÿ˜

Superb 14.75๐Ÿ˜‚ LL! Shows you've got endurance...but not OCD!
What a fantastic 70 npr and impressive times too hs. You've certainly used this elongated unusual period to get into top shape.
I haven't ๐Ÿ˜‚..!!..Reasonably happy with what I'm doing, did 7.2 this morning enjoying the snail pace and noting that blackberries are ripe in places. Don't like slipping down the table but I'm on target..just!

Thanks Steve, I think many runners have run more miles and more often during the lockdowns, getting out for exercise.

It's good that you are doing a respectable mileage each week, pace, times etc. are less important as we age.

Cooler this morning, and it actually rained. I ran a hilly, solo 7.67 miles in the forest.

Good running everyone ๐Ÿ™‚.

Was tired for a few days post jab, still knackered but I have been busy. Managed some nice runs this week and did my long run early this morning before it got too hot. Nice hilly trail run. We are in desperate need of rain, itโ€™s forecast this week so hopefully we get some.

Good that you are feeling better now Lesley. Nothing compares with a nice hilly trail run!

LL, that was near enough!

Hi all, sorry not been in here much, been struggling, in regards to the biking the wheels have well and truly fallen off and well off target now, but well ahead on the walking which is good. Yesterday it was good to get back to parkrun, and I had a good day in terms of fatigue (suffered afterwards though)... but got a walking 5K PB of 42:49 :-) As you can see from the piccy, I'm fatter than I should be, but that is now starting to shift.... Take care all (and hope that it wont be as long next time)
