Good going RFJ and now a new month! You surely must be pleased with your YTD too.
5k this morning felt a struggle and I know I'll come out of this ugh period as Spring progresses.

The bitter cold has gone but 4c before it gets light still doesn't get me loose.

Another bright sunny morning, but still very cold. This week will be a recovery one, as last week was very intense.

A nice easy pace 5 miles in the forest, which is still very wet and muddy.

That's a long way "up" to start (and down to finish) hillstrider!

(Well, it looks it to me in flat York!!)

It was an out and back recovery run Marky. It is more or less impossible to find anywhere flat my way, on or off road. It's good that I like hill running though😁

9 miles run yesterday which brought me up to 101 miles run in Feb.

2nd month of over 100 miles run this year.

Not really aiming for 100 miles a month, just seems to work out like that, running 5 days a week.

Plus did a 27:17 5k on Saturday, the fastest I've run for ages.

Good running there scPete with what sounds like a good routine too.
Fed up with the easterly wind...like a lot of folks I guess...and early this morning it apparently felt like minus 3c again. No wonder I'm grumbling and barely jogging! Nice forest runs hs; I do find that there is respite from the wind along the tree cladded trails it's just a pity I have to run a mile to get to them!
