Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I hope all us oldies (over 70's) can keep running for many more years, no matter how slowly compared with years gone by.

I ran a very slow solo 5.75k this morning, testing the calf and am pleased to say it was ok.

Good news hillstrider! You older chaps are quite inspirational, you know - something to encourage us (marginally) younger ones! ;)

Nice to see the add image button Lord Fetch. Shame weather has not been good for photography last few days.
Lots of DIY here too. Not good exercise - not even crawling room in parts of our roof space. Painting today but managed to fit in a run and a swim.

Thanks Marky! I'm sure that we will continue to do our best to keep going.

Another rest day today to be on the safe side, as tomorrow is a virtual 10k challenge.

Had a very gentle running weekend myself this week as I've been on nights but looking forward to a longer run tomorrow to get back at it

Second covid jab yesterday evening and all well save for the achy arm. Won't run now until tomorrow just to let the body settle with its jab stuff!
My Asics arrived from Sportsshoes after a mere 24 hours after ordering; they feel comfortable , a bit harder under foot than Hokas but more room in the toe box. Oh..and they look good!!
Glad the calf is ok hs.
Ugh to "nights" Jayfire, I remember such times. Hope you fitted in a decent run today.
