Thanks RFJ, that's very king of you.
Sorry to read your struggling at the moment, though 17 odd miles sounds pretty good to me. Well done.

David - and anybody else - 268 miles converts to 431.284 km. This is obtained by dividing the miles by 0.6214. Alternatively, if you take 268 mls. X 1.60933333 (no. of kms. in a mile), you get the answer as 431.301. That's today's piece of useless information!!

Well done MrsB, 12Bar and Gromit! Those are big mileages.
And good to hear from you RJF. That's more than I've done on a bike for months!

Divide by 5 and times by 8 gets you a pretty good approximation - and is what we did on holidays in France as children trying to work out how many more miles we had to get to places.
With the a fair few miles of walking this month (work is 3 miles each way and although I haven't been in often when I do go in I walk) I am comfortably over the line.
Really not sure about GVRAT. Did it last year - out and back and a little bit more.

The wettest muddiest trails this morning, had to cut short intended five miler by about half a mile because of depth of puddles with debris hidden below surface. Cold too! Dunno about all these virtual things at all! My wife is doing Route 66 which is 2,000 miles. Bonkers to me. ( probably because I couldn't do virtual things and keep to less efforts!) Well done Mrsb and David on Spine endeavour.

Thanks for the comments of support, just finding it tough as realy miss running, and even like today, when I want to have a go back, i trip, and reminds me that it wont be the case.... so sends me on a downers, but I need to exercise so will keep on with the exercise bike and walking with the poles,
todays efforts were 46:32 for VPR46/46, keeping the record going.... plus a slow / steady half on the exercise bike.
still up on both targets will do the maths for tomorrow
Take care all

Well done everyone, some superb achievements. Keep going RFJ you are an inspiration to us all ๐๐.
I'm afraid we wimped out of our forest 5k this morning, as the forest is waterlogged in places. We did a road 5k instead, to maintain our unbroken record, now 45 out of 45. The weather was awful, a bitingly cold strong wind, and very heavy rain.
