Now I've finished the Virtual Spine race, I shall assume my usual position at the bottom of the league table.
I think the organisers may have cocked up though. I entered my mileage manually & the website automatically converted it to kilometers. I still use the Imperial system of weights & measures, so according to my calculations, I've still 5 miles or so left to run to the finish. Yesterday, when I logged in my mileage, up came a banner on the website proclaiming "Well done for finishing the Spine Race."

I notice The Great Virtual Race across Tennessee is back on this year. I quite enjoyed that last year, so I may enter again this year.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Cross post earlier with 12bar. Well done to you too David. I'm sure Gromit won't be too far off your heels. Great running the three of you.

Well done MrsB and 12barDavid for finishing the Spine , I’d noticed the same Dave about the distance which I really don’t understand .... how hard can it be to calculate .... but they say it’s cos the actual course plotting is done in straight lines etc ... I’ve planned my mileage accordingly tho during my long run tomorrow I will finish the digital shorter and the full 268 miles which I’d set out to run.

Thanks for your kind words everyone.

Going back to the Spine Race, I've logged today's miles & I'll still log Sundays run as well.(I won't run tomorrow, too many jobs around the bungalow to be done). Then I know that I have run & walked the whole 268 miles distance & will be able to show off my medal with a clear conscience. After todays short run, I reckon I've only got another 3 miles left to run to have completed the full 268 miles. I still reckon my calculations are correct & the organisers are wrong about my total.

Well done MrsB & Gromit. I dread to think what you two have got up your sleeves for your next virtual challenge.

I could tell you 12bar but then MrsB would find out 😜 although I’m sure she’ll be doing the same challenge and I also assume we’ll all be meeting up again in Tennessee 😂😂
