Its forecast minus 4 degrees here at 8AM tomorrow morning. We are intending to do 5 miles cross country, so that should be interesting. I will probably resort to wearing my Ron Hill tracksters, which is a shame as I will be wearing a new pair of Salomon socks which will be covered up.😦

Nice pictures MrsB.
As I alluded to yesterday, the light breeze & heavy snow showers we were promised never materialised. We had a heavy downpour for about half an hour earlier this morning & by the time I went out for my run, it was the same old story, I needed my sunglasses. The low bright sun was really blinding.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend everyone.

We have about 2" of snow too. Nice photos MrsB 6.5 miles for me up local hill, although you would be pushed to call some of it running even by my low bar! Running and swimming having to be fitted around getting house back in order after complete central heating replacement.

Those photos were taken on our road, and on the path next to the 'main road' no evidence of gritting having taken place. Just amazed that Husbando is happy to wear shorts whatever the weather.
I had to walk into town this afternoon to get some milk, I don't understand milk consumption in this house, we go from having to throw it out because it has gone off as the only person using it is me (for tea) to the world and his big brother wanting to make milk based drinks. By then the snow had been well trodden and varied between being a bit slushy and being very compacted - was much harder walking than it had been running.
We are waiting for the engineer to turn up with the spare for our treadmill - of all the times for it to go wrong....
