Horse wee smell is a downside of living in this part of Surrey. I think there are as many horses as there are Range Rovers. Any run along damp trails leads to instant pongy trainers.

Nice to see you this morning Mrs B. I'm doing the virtual Spine Challenger so 'just' 108 miles for me! Might have to go in search of those cinnamon rolls!

Managed to get out yesterday and today for a combined 10 miles - getting closer to getting my red heart back after all the rain

It was lovely to see you too Susi! And I got back in time to teach my lesson, only to have my work laptop die part way through the lesson. Lovely weather, even if icy!

Second run in two days where I have bumped into someone I know with a Sue/Susi/Susan derived name!

Plenty of horse riders round my way too Chiefy (Sussex)

So plenty of horse poo and wee to run through ,mixed in with the mud.

I always get a cheery "morning" from the riders :)

SCP, next time you go for a run, take a bucket and small shovel to collect the horse poo. It's so good for the garden. We don't need horse manure, because our local farmer periodically drops us off a small trailer-load of fresh cow manure the other side of our garden wall - lovely!

I did a run of 4.50 mls., including 2.50 at tempo pace. With only a breeze and a little drop of drizzle, conditions were ideal.

It's a bit odd, MrsB. But not in a sad way!

Rest day today so easy life. Ish. ;-)

Morning all πŸ‘. There’s a thick frost down here on the South coast, so I’ll go for a run πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ when the sun 🌞 is over the yardarm.

Minus 3.1c this morning and icy pavements but roads to trails ok. Hard frozen pools and puddles but a glorious morning five miler. Slowly creeping back to red heart.
