Listen to my podcasts if choice and you’ll go quicker too - UK True Crimes 🤣 well done for your dark run.
I remember listening to Radio Luxembourg but not as much detail as you guys.

Good miles in the forest the other day hs, 7.34 miles must be so good there while it's still dry. Yes I remember "Journey into Space" in fact I have cd's of the whole series! I'm sure you'll remember Horace Bachelor on 208 too. He the bloke who promised to give us the secret to financial security via the football pools! Dark running certainly does make you feel as if you're going faster Donnie1, same for me early morning. I don't fancy evening running anymore, in fact switched from evening to morning thirty years ago. Back then I couldn't get into morning runs at all! Ugh to your cold and cough FF, hope you're better soon Good five miler LL in a different environment. I trust your dentist hygienist did a good job hs . I've got a consultation with the COVID consultant later today. It'll only be reviewing the meds she prescribed in April and from my point of view. 3.3 miles on mainly trails , just light enough without head torch and crunchy dry leaves all the way.

Sorry to hear about your rotten cold FF, and hope that you soon feel better. There seem to be a lot of colds, around at the moment 🤧
Donnie1, well done for your 5 miles in the dark. I don't run at night now, but don't think that I ran any quicker.
GG, I note that you were also a Radio Luxembourg listener.😀
Thanks Steve, yes, yesterday's forest run was good, and there was only one area that we had to turn back from.
I didn't know that there were any CD's of 'Journey into Space.' It was quite scary, and the sound effects were very effective. I seem to remember that there was also a 'Dan Dare' series, but I might have made that up. It was definitely in the 'Eagle Comic' I had forgotten about Horace Batchelor, with his fantastic Infradraw Method which had personally won him thousands of pounds.
The Hygienist was impressed with the condition of my gums and teeth.
I hope that your appointment with the COVID consultant will prove productive.
Well done for this mornings 3.3 miles, mainly on trails.
The usual Tuesday Farmers Walk this morning, with a lighter load than usual. That probably means that Friday's will be heavier.
Is anyone staying up all night listening to any results coming through from the American Election?

Hope the appointment goes well Steve. Good to see that you are still clocking up the miles.
Get well soon FF.
I am used to running in the dark, both mornings and evenings are dark here - soon be dark at 4pm. I would go mad if I didn't have a head torch and go out of the town on my runs, I like mixing things up.
I have the dentist in a could of weeks, I lost part of a filling so it will not be a pleasant visit. It's on a back tooth and a pain to be filled, it's not bothering me so have not contacted them about it.

Good luck Steve. Get well soon FF. I managed to scrape on to the line today.
It was a relief to drop the kids to schools today and hand back responsibility.
When I used to do night shifts I used to enjoy following election results coming in but won’t be staying up especially. Fingers crossed Me Orange doesn’t get in.

I won't be staying up either LL. The final result probably won't be confirmed for a few days, or even weeks. The orange man was certainly scraping the barrel, digging out Hulk Hogan.

Looks like victory for Mr Trump. Oh well....
My discussion with the COVID consultant didn't reveal anything new and only amounted to a check in on my progress. Luckily I can give objective feedback thanks to running efforts, HR, etc otherwise it would be too vague. We discussed the dosage and long term elements of medication and she was prepared to increase my dosage. However I said I was embarking on a training plan (of my own) which might be better without any increase yet. Also discussed the potential for eventual weaning off (at my request). Another review in April after I've been on it for twelve months. As it stands I'm happy with my progress even though I'm a way off ideal. I'm accepting that my running efforts are likely to be different from how I'd anticipated running into my eighties and pretty much enjoying what I do. 3.2 road miles this morning. It's gone from dry to very damp here with low cloud and mist.

I'm glad that I didn't stay up all night, following the American election!
I'm sorry to hear that your appointment with the COVID consultant didn't appear to be very constructive Steve. I can understand your unwillingness to keep taking the medication if it isn't helping. It could be doing more harm than good.
Well done for this mornings 3.2 miles on roads.
I ran 6.75 miles this morning with Mike, including 5 hill reps up Noakes Hill in the forest.

I’m really glad I didn’t stay up to watch the election unfold.
The main thing is you’re happy Steve. It’s not everyone can do as well as you can and the more you keep on going the better.
I ran 5k this morning first mile with a friend who had to bail with a sore foot. I carried on then walked back to her. It was a pity as it was a rare day that I felt good 😂
