Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think that after many years of running Steve, we know how to fall! Well done for this mornings 5k with torey. Good to hear that your new Ride 15 shoes were nigh on perfect. I've never heard of that brand. Are they off road shoes?

The usual Friday Farmers Walk this morning into a bitterly cold wind.

They're Saucony Ride 15 hs. They happen to be off roaders but fine for a mile or so on roads until we hit trail. I hadn't intended to purchase off roaders but for forty nine quid down from £130 it was a bargain!
Yeah, bitterly cold wind ...brisk Farmer's Walk essential to keep the blood flowing!

Stood in my kitchen about to door down to parkrun. Still, cold and damp and traffic news has just mention 'frozen rain' although almost certainly not here.

Mentioned I was hoping for a long run on Thurs or Friday, almost but not quite. Did a HM but it was spread across the two days, Thurs - 8.1 and Fri - 5.0.

Out at 6.30 am, pouring with rain until I left the house all decked out in rain gear which was unnecessary. So cba doing more than 1.5 miles, might go out again later.
Am 8.1 and a 5 were good Donnie1. Local park runs will be very sodden around here.

Dubairunner, well done for yesterday's 10 miles and this mornings 4.62.

Donnie1, well done for your 8.1 and 5 miles.

I ran 12k (7.46 miles) this morning with Sarah H, around the Marina, and alongside the Southampton Water.

Sorry Steve, I haven't responded to your post. Well done for your early morning run in unnecessary rain gear😁.

I have ouchy knees :-( Not happy about that, they are twinging occasionally - painfully enough to make me stop what I am doing and swear under my breath.

At least it is half term next week, followed by jury duty.

Have a good weekend everyone!
