Looks almost perfect weather for the Melbourne marathon Jack FW although a 24kph wind is forecast! Hope it's on your back! Best wishes for a good trot.
Bit of a temperature difference for you Lesley 😁 Only 2c here this morning but ok for a marathon. Hope you enjoy yours on Sunday and that it goes well.
My "bit of a bad chest" seems to have developed into a cold so I've only done ultra short outings. Just 1.3 miles this morning to try out new Puma running shoes. Not overly impressed and hoping to nurture a better relationship with them over time!

I'm sorry to hear Steve that your bit of a bad chest has developed into a cold. There are a lot of them about! I don't think that I have ever worn Puma trainers.
The usual Friday Farmers Walk this morning. Garmin Connect advised my average pace was 41 minute miling😆🤣

Jack and lesley: good luck this marathon weekend. Hope the weather in Melbourne and Aberfeldy behaves itself. Enjoy.
MrHSC: sense your frustration about Lisbon. However great race to do and a very respectable outcome in usual conditions. Well done.
My marathon is next weekend so starting to check weather forecasts and, after much uncertainty, starting to get excited.
Three runs this week, 5 x 2 and 10k on Thursday night (53mins) which I was happy with.

Donnie 1, 53 minutes for 10k is an excellent time, especially as you probably weren't pushing too hard. Best of luck with your marathon next week, and looking forward to your race report.

No parkrun this morning, as I didn't want to go on my own. Instead, I ran a solo hilly 4.73 miles on roads, bringing my mileage to 900.
