That's good LL. I have problems posting pictures on here too. Seems to be hit and miss, it works sometimes, but more often doesn't.

Sounds good the pyramis session HS..the competitive edge never really goes does it?...just the frustration of not being able to compete on the level you once were able to..

Thanks Turkhish, you're right. It is frustrating when being lapped, but I think to myself that back in the day, they wouldn't have seen me for dust😁

Looking good LL.

I do enjoy a good pyramid session HS.

Good luck to anyone racing this weekend, if your not enjoy anyway!

Will be attempting a 5k tomorrow morning, will try a little hill in there too and see how it goes.

No pyramids, intervals, Fartlek and of course ( for me) no races. Just early morning jaunts at this best time of year.
Five miles on road and trail. Pace and HR poor but what the heck!
Hope the 5k works out Leslie.
I thought I'd had green ticks from the off hs! I've done more miles than usual.

Hope your 5k went well today Lesley.

Well done for your 5 miler today Steve.

This morning was 6 hill reps with 20 metres sprint at the top. I was running with the hr screen on my watch, intending to run as much as possible in the max zone. It worked out at Zone 5 max 10%, Zone 4 threshold 63%, Zone 3 Aerobic 21%, Zone 2 easy 2%, Zone 1 warm up 2%..I feel quite pleased with that, as it is the first time that I have really bothered to look into the various zones.

Looks like we'll balanced zones there hs. Zone 5 is impossible for me currently as you know! But still getting the miles in, another 4 early this morning, taking advantage of dry days and before the wind blows up later in the mornings.

Thanks Steve and well done for getting the miles in and maintaining the green tick.

It was very hot this morning and I struggled a bit with a hilly road 10k. My legs were feeling heavy after Thursday and Saturdays quality training sessions. Only 2 weeks now until the Exbury 10k. I'm hoping to get close to 60 minutes. My quickest on this morning course is 1.01.17, on 19th May, but it is hilly, whereas the Exbury is fairly flat.
