Pyramid session next scottdog 😂?!
10c here this morning and a poor run after yesterday's good one. That's the way it goes sometimes or maybe I should follow general advice on taking a day off after a harder effort at my age.
That's a lot of park runs under your belt RFJ but hopefully you can still do "your"walks without having to be involved in an event.

Norway ..Egypt ..how jealous am I!!...RFJ a great number of parkruns..I have never completed 1! mainly due to working weekends is my excuse.

And luckily I have never been in a race where the signage has been moved etc..

An easy run this morning, just unwinding before work and a tougher run tomorrow...

I ran 50 parkruns before Covid, and 70 consecutive Saturday virtual 5k's after. I haven't returned to official parkruns yet, because to be honest, the "novelty" has worn off😁
Today is a rest day.

It took me 10 years from 2011 to 2021 to do my first 50 but I’m on a mission now to do as many as possible and having fun with the associated challenges.

I’m not cut out for this running in extreme heat. Solo run tonight 3.50 miles with an average of 8.51. Passed 2 camels which just made me smile. Happy Tuesday everyone

I lived in Oman for 7months a few years ago I never passed a camel on my run quite jealous.

Rain stopped play here, then it faired up after we changed plans. Regretting it now but no strength in my head to go out. Off for a walk instead.

I’m on 45 Parkrun’s, did my first in 2011. Was hoping to get 50 3 years ago. I will get it this year.

Hill reps in the rain tonight. It was tough but a good workout.

Enjoy your holidays FF and Scottdog.

Thanks Lesley.

Feeling rough this evening, I had muscles this afternoon for the first time ever and a 3 course meal this evening and with a slight rolling of the ship my tummy doesn't feel too good.

9 miles yesterday and 5 today but unable to upload until I get home.

Hope your stomach has settled FF

I’m rubbish at parkruns when our local one started I used to help out most weeks (before recognition of being a volunteer counted) then someone got involved who was an awful man and it made going miserable so I stopped. I don’t even think I’m at 25 yet. It’s totally different now but I’m away most weekends and the others I find if I’m up I’d rather just get out and I can have done 10k and be home before it’s even started. Great community though.
