I hope you feel better soon GG. A cough can be so annoying. If it bothers you at night I highly recommend the night time medicine but you can only get it from the chemist.

Your poor wee boy doesn’t half get taken out by colds, poor lad. Hope he enjoyed his Christmas.

It’s a weird cough it comes from the top of my chest and sounds awful but for me it’s just annoying I thought it was easing yesterday but think being in a cold campervan (briefly) then walking around outside in the damp before sleeping in a floor that felt draughty all didn’t help.

Home now and a quite snoozy afternoon before heading out to meet friends tonight. Still have 3 family present drops to fit in & dads new mobile to set up.

Well done Lesley, a sub 28 minutes 5k is very impressive. My quickest this year is 28.28, which I've run twice. I think sub 28 is beyond me.

I'm sorry to hear that the wee boy has another cough, and hope that he soon manages to shake it off.

I'm sorry gg that you are still suffering with that annoying cough, and hope that it soon clears up.

Have fun with your friends this evening 😀

I hope all those who are ailing feel better soon, or are at least able to imbibe whatever makes them feel better.

I am back running after my Christmas break. My OH is complaining of a sore throat. I shall NOT be going down with anything as I have four days and 20.2 miles to go to hit the entirely arbitrary target

4.9 miles more to take me over my realistic target of 750 for 2024 and still 4 days in which to achieve this.
Travelling tomorrow but may fit in parkrun on route.

4 miles to go- unless something goes badly wrong I should get to 1000 miles tomorrow on my post-parkrun recovery. 🤞🏼

Great going everyone! Did 11k today so less than 15k to go to 1500k (Got electrocuted by a fence and struggled through some hedges). Hopefully doing a new Parkrun tomorrow in Teignmouth with my bro.
