Well done GG for another run with your nephew, and yesterday's 9.5 miles coastal run.

Well done Steve for yesterday's 3.7 miles. Enjoy today's rest day.

Well done MrsB for this mornings Southsea parkrun, with warm up and down totalling 7.65 miles. We have been thinking about doing the Southsea parkrun. I'm not surprised that it was windy, having run the GSR many times.

This morning I ran the Brockenhurst parkrun in Wilverley Inclosure, which was my 100th parkrun and 25th volunteering. It was also a fellow club runners 30th birthday. There was a high club turnout, and plenty of home made cakes, some with 100 and some with 30 on top. Several photos were taken and I will try to post them on here. I'm not always successful.

Congratulations on your 100th HS. A great achievement. I also ran parkrun at Victoria Dock east London which is quite scenic.
Good luck everyone doing longer runs tomorrow quite relieved to be only doing 7.

Well done for your 100th parkrun and 25th parkrun volunteer hillstrider great photos too.
Lots of good running going on too for the thread as always.
I had intended doing parkrun tourism and meeting a couple of Fetchies but I had a busy and late finish at work yesterday and decided sleep was unfortunately more important. Tomorrow's weather doesn't look good and I probably won't be running again so it's been a very poor week and a half. I've a lot to do in the next 3 weeks.

Congratulations on your 100th HS. Hoping to get there later this year.

Well done on your runs folks.

I did 13 this morning, including Parkrun. It was cool and cloudy, perfect conditions really. I had the highest position ever at my local Parkrun. Two weeks ago I was 24 this week 93. Wasn't pushing it today though.

No good extending yourself when you're working long hours FF, throw in the inclement weather and sleep was a wise option. Hope you get back to more comfortable routine soon.
What celebrations hs! Fantastic 100th park run and 25th volunteer involvement.
How annoying with those laces Mrsb but still a good overall performance despite the wind too .
Interestingly, I'm sure everyone knows, flat laces are more secure than round ones. I "triple knot" my round laces because they often undo.
Great 9.5 gg in the conditions. Brrr.
A zippy park run LL, well done. Don't try to replicate that next week!!

Back to puddles again this morning after overnight rain, 4.2 miles was uncomfortable and my HR didn't equate to how hard it felt. Still no letter from my consultant!! She did leave a phone message saying it would be sent out; I wonder what systems have to be negotiated in sending out letters from hospitals!!?!

Wow brilliant parkrunning on both counts hs and how lovely that you all celebrated along with Callum for his 30th birthday! 🎂 great photos.

Great 13m Lesley and Loo I saw you did a nice 7. It’s good when you get that recovery week in a plan.

Sleep and recovery is important FF, what and when is your next event?

I have to face the rain and icy temperatures for a run later it’s not on my plan but my miles and time was short on Friday. I’m going to have to run on my own next weekend as I need the distance as well as time which I don’t get running with my mam or friend.
