Wow what a beautiful red, I would have been more devastated if it had been a red squirrel. I have only once seen a red around here and that was many years ago, although they do have red boxes up in the trees to help them. Last ones I saw was a Lendrick (nr Callendar) a couple of years ago when I was at a yoga/running retreat, 3 of them were playing in the grounds.

great session hs, and nice running Lesley & Steve. Officially a rest day here but nephew is dragging me out for a run... this could be fun haha

another 3.2 with the nephew, totally unplanned but very enjoyable, he seemed to really love it so much so he dragged me on a woodland run! So so so muddy it was lethal in places (spot the runner scared of getting injured) then it was a pleasant trot home. Messed up by not pausing garmin while nattering to his mam over a cuppa.

Nice to be running with your nephew gg even if on muddy terrain. The trot home sounded ok and not likely to cause an injury!

Still blowing cold here and thankfully dry, 3.7 miles but my legs were tired. A running free day tomorrow.

Really cold and very (20mph) windy and not a day to do a coastal run for my life! I feel battered. But 9.5 done. I can also feel the effects of Thursdays upper body weights session.

Really windy here this morning too GG! Went to Southsea to do the parkrun as a time trial, 27mph winds not helpful! Less helpful was my lace coming undone. Trying to tie laces with gloves on is tricky!

Was 7 seconds slower than last time - so the time lost stopping, moving to a safe place to tie my lace etc. is gutting!

Still, with the warm up and warm down that is 7.65miles in the bag this morning.

Well done Mrs B, allowing for the time you lost, that's a real success

Well done GG for another run with your nephew, and yesterday's 9.5 miles coastal run.

Well done Steve for yesterday's 3.7 miles. Enjoy today's rest day.

Well done MrsB for this mornings Southsea parkrun, with warm up and down totalling 7.65 miles. We have been thinking about doing the Southsea parkrun. I'm not surprised that it was windy, having run the GSR many times.

This morning I ran the Brockenhurst parkrun in Wilverley Inclosure, which was my 100th parkrun and 25th volunteering. It was also a fellow club runners 30th birthday. There was a high club turnout, and plenty of home made cakes, some with 100 and some with 30 on top. Several photos were taken and I will try to post them on here. I'm not always successful.
