Thanks Steve.

That’s not too bad FF. Had to ask my husband what a subframe was 😂. New car then next year? Or will you get a new subframe?

Good you have a plan Steve.

Well done FF on your 16.
Jaks great training 2 x 8 over challenging routes.

I got my 20 done today. Did the first 5 and last 3 on my own middle 12 with a friend.

Was able to push the last few miles. I’m happy with it albeit slow as I was too ill to parkrun on Sat so wasn’t confident today as hadn’t eaten much over the last few days.

A new subframe Jingle Jaks, I hope, as the car is good and reliable.

Brilliant 20 LL. That takes some doing, you're well and truly prepared for a marathon now, maintain and consolidate over this interim period.

A plan of sorts LL! It's all about not stopping really. It's a bit of a nuisance having to add goodness knows how many exercises into my daily routine when it's running which provides the enjoyment. However, this morning 's rain is a good morning to have off as a non run day! Weights, stretches, exercises etc instead!

Well done LL for completing your 20 miles.

Very heavy rain and strong winds here, and only three of us Wednesday Crew ran. We did pyramids, from 1 up to 6 laps round a local carpark.

I guess I didn't see / read your post yesterday Looby Loo, sorry, well done for your 20 miler and especially if you were ill over the weekend. Speeding up towards the end of the run is good encouragement for your training and the race too.

ThanksFestive Flier I hope so. I’ve sacrificed a bit of speed to run with company but my last mile of 20 was a min a mile quicker than my marathon pace and it was uphill so hoping is shows my stamina is there.

Another very wet and windy morning and I ran a solo 6k recovery run on roads.
