Well done everyone, and I hope you all had a very lovely Christmas!

Thanks Lesley for setting up the 1000 mile thread. This year was the first that I had found it. Looking forward to 2019 and seeing you all there!

Thank you Lesley!

I've just done my last parkrun of the year and achieved my highest ever WAVA - Brooklands will be a fast one when it is dry.

Well done Mrs B. on getting that WAVA. You are still very young - I think so - and you will find that when your pace starts to get slower, then your WAVA gets higher. I got my highest WAVA score (70.93%) when I was a couple of weeks short of my 65th birthday. Remember to put this result on to your Race Portfolio.

Well done Mrsb, congrats on getting your highest ever WAVA!
I ran 6.1miles in the forest this morning with two club mates. First run since before Xmas.

Thank you Evangel - I don’t think I fit the ‘very young’ description anymore, I hit the big 50 in 2019. Not quite sure how I got to be this old without growing up! I came first in the 45-49 age category too :-)

Fantastic running Mrsb.

I'll be back on the thread but fully expec--ok, intend-- to be behind and needing to catch up to be on track until early Spring. Trying a couple of things running wise and will be helping my wife rehabilitate if (IF!) her scheduled hip replacement goes ahead next week. She's aiming for the Snowdon Marathon in October (against my wishes!). We'll see. She's already frustrated having not run properly since September.

Hope all goes well for Mrs steve45! I've been persuaded (a little bit against my will) to do Snowdon in October - we will be staying up there so maybe we'll get to put names to faces!

Well done MrsB
Hope the NHS gets its act in order and Mrs Steve45 is raring to go in October.
Wasn't organised enough to get onto Snowdonia, myself, this year.
Am, however, signed up for Cape Wrath Challenge week again and Loch Katrine marathon so far. A few uncertainties make planning for 2019 more difficult than usual.
