MMM..all my runs are short and you're getting far too close to me in the leaderboard! Am struggling really to go beyond 8 miles..no obvious reason why (ok...old!) so I'll continue to enjoy the lower distances and move closer to that 1,000...

Steve, you're still 15 miles ahead of me. And I'm pretty sure you could probably stay there if you wanted to!
I'm just looking - i may have reached the dizzy heights of No. 52, but assuming everyone else keeps on running too I reckon it's at least the weekend before I could make any lasting progress further up.
Still, another 5 later tonight

Yes planning a short break on the 20th August, might only last a few days though, just need to see.
Tonight's run might be interesting, thunder storms are forecast :-/

Will it depend if you've passed the 1000 mile mark or not Lesley?

I'm sorry peoples, that I haven't been on here for a while, but I've lacked motivation a little. I haven't done much running for some time as I seem to have Plantar Fasciitis, which isn't pleasant, even though it's not very painful most of the time. Every week or so I keep trying a short run to test it out again, but then I find increased pain either that evening or the next day. I've just got to keep on with the exercises, and wait patiently - ha! ha!
I hope you folks haven't been plagued by injury too much, and that you're doing some good running.

Ow Evangel. You could do without that. Be nice to it and yourself. (Mrs MMM is similarly afflicted and has just joined the gym instead!) I'm sure you'll be back soon if you stick to the regimen!
