900 miles for the year will be passed tomorrow and should reach 1000 sometime in August. By the 6th of August I'm like to be at 950ish miles as have my first 50k on the 5th and about another 28 in training leading up to it. |

54th now!! And is that Peter disappearing up the board?! Knee is fine and I'll get back to normal stuff next month after making sure there's nothing serious going on and there's no pain now. Another 28 miler RedA before a 50k? You can afford to do less and still do well. (I think!) |

I'm back! I've had a quick scan through the messages - but you have all been very chatty! I did spot a comment about 9hrs to do 7 miles - but that was summit day, we set off at 2am and climbed 1200m - there was a lot of 'pole pole' (slowly - slowly) and a rest at Stella Point before the final push to the peak. It was awesome. A real roller coaster in terms of emotions, dealing with boy's behaviour, illnesses etc. etc. If you are at all interested I blogged (many times) about it... mrsbridgewater.blogspot.co.uk |
