AndrewD I'm not running a 10k Mmm is.
I hope to increase my miles from now until December with marathon training. So the last 4 weeks of little running will be a thing of the past soon. I'm still unsure I want to commit to running 4 and 5 days a week though, hey ho we'll see how it goes.
So Mmm and Steve in 2 or 3 weeks time you may have to start looking over your shoulder, I'ma chasing ya

I don't know about that Peter, especially the amount of miles you put in.
12.5 miles this morning, I ran to feel, although I did try to slow down I didn't try too hard.

You're doing great on those few days then Fenland--five days a week is my norm but I put in shorter distances at the moment. Good nine miles Peter..I see you have a big distance wife like I do! We used to run together until about five years ago when she discovered ultras!

Steve I enjoy my 3 days a week running when I'm able to but to commit to 5 days a week is going to be tough.
I'm used to doing 25 to 30 mile weeks over 3 runs and soon it will be 36 to 55 over 5 runs, over 18 weeks using the P&D up to 55 mile week training plan.
When I ran my one and only marathon I did run 4 days a week over 12 weeks but only ran 50 mile weeks twice.
So overall my running should improve further although I believe I've improved anyway, especially this year with new pb's at 15m, 30k, 5k, and 1m.
Further distances to race are 5m, 10k, half and full mara distances. The way I feel 3 of those will be beaten and the half will be a bit tougher, that one will depend how I feel on the day.
