10 mile run today, very slow due to eating breakfast at 4.30am and not running until nearly 7am! Now up to 62 miles this year (only managed 14.7 miles in the whole of January last year).

Well done everyone. 4 miles for me, 6 for the year. Got all year to catch up so not worried. Just loving being out there again.

Well done everyone! I'm already stressing about how to get the training in this week due to work. Aaagh! May be some late night treadmill runs at this rate. Miles are miles though, right?

I'm aiming for 1000+ this year too. Off to a good start this year, fingers crossed it continues for the next 11 and a half months.

I think treatmill runs are good for getting you mentally tough as well as they're so boring! I tend to do hill work when I use the treadmill just to break it up a bit. Of course they count!

8 miles yesterday and another 8.5 today. Couple of days rest now though. I prefer to use the treadmill for intervals, constantly changing the speed breaks up the monotony!
