My word Sushi! I'm on 362 so far this whole year!! How do you people manage to fit all that into just one month? (I'm guessing you don't need as much time to fit it in if you're at the speedier end of the spectrum!)

If I was less slow I’d get more miles for my hours. I have, in theory, plenty of free time to run so could have much higher mileage than I do, but have a kneegle and other dodgy joints that need pandering to

I managed 203 miles in November 2020; partly not much else to do but work, partly doing a gnat's over 100 of them in one week for a 100 mile virtual ultra, including taking one day off to run marathon distance midweek. I also had the following Monday off to rest. I'd have to be faster to cram more in! Currently finding work cuts in to getting past 150 in a month.

I can't really blame work. If I could drag my carcass out of the house earlier I'd have time to run 15-20 miles and have a shower and lunch before going to work. But at the moment I don't have much notion of making my runs longer than they are.

Running is my 2nd focus and I'm managing a well documented broken body. I've done over 80 hours of training this month but running is barely a quarter of the time.
I rarely run over 10 miles in a single run.
Maybe for one month I'll just go all old school on myself and see how many miles I get.

Funny this is being discussed as this is my record month already now with marathon training (my previous high was during marathon training for my last one 12 years ago).
9 miles tonight.

Well done cheekys dad
I see all of us here as bloody awesome, I’ve ran for many years but it was 2020 that I first attempted a 100m month, since then I’ve missed 2 both through being poorly.
But what I think is also important to remember is our individual goals and targets we all have different lives and different focus. I’m terrible for comparing myself to others when it’s not possible to be that person - I’ve learnt over the years.
But that won’t ever stop me admiring everyone’s achievements and maybe pushing me to be a little better than I may have believed possible.
