I've just written a blog about this but I'll copy and paste it here for anyone who doesn't read blogs....

A year and a day ago I wrote this in my blog.....

I hope to be able to continue to run 100 miles per month as I have this year. I have been maintaining the ‘100 mile a month in 2021’ thread. As you probably know, at the end of each month I check out people’s running mileage and do a little roundup list to congratulate those over the 100 and commiserate with those who aren’t quite there and remind them that we start afresh in the next month. Here’s the thread.....

fetcheveryone.com/forum/100-miles-a-month-in-2022-61754/

At the end of this year rather than creating a new thread I’m going to change the title of the thread to “100 miles a month in 2022!” Imaginative I know! 😂😜

Anyway. Because some of the people who are active participants on the thread don’t set 1,200 running miles as their targets initially. Some set lower, some set higher. I’d like to know if you would still wish to be included on my ‘end of the month list”. Please let me know by commenting on this blog or on the thread and I’ll keep a note of who wants to be in the 100 a month, end of month list.

And what a year it's been. The support and encouragement on the thread has been wonderful! The same applies for 2023. Just let me know if you still want to be on the list.

Thanks,

Ness x

Thank you Ness for being such a great guardian of this lovely thread. I'm definitely in for next year.

Well done EvilPixie, that's great mileage!

This thread and the 100M is the reason I have just run to and from track instead of my usual cycle, to make the miles up...shorter session than usual so we could do our end-of-year relay races too, so 8 x 600m, then a 4 x 400m relay in pairs. I was on legs 2 and 4 and don't think I've ever flung myself around a track so fast before - but we won! :-)

68.6/100. Will be a bit squeaky with holiday travel to family, but definitely doable.

Exactly what the title says. A thread for if you’re targeting 💯 a month.
