Today’s Task

5:00pm, 28 Jun 2024
If you can spare five minutes, it’d be great if you could try to attempt the following task:

You are organising an event to be held on the 31st December 2024. It’s a 10k called the ‘(insert your name here) Usability Test 10k’.

It’s a trail race in a town or village of your choice. There’s a parallel 5k event happening on the same day.

Can you list both events?

Stuff I’m looking for?
Is it obvious how to add an event?
Do you have any troubles filling in the form?
How do you go about adding the second event?
Are there any parts of the process that seem strange?

Have at it 🤓

  • I know how to add events as do it often but is it possible to have a feature where you can add multiple distances at the same time? Currently i have to stick in all the same data again with the right distance/costs. name, location, weblink all the same normally.

  • I found adding the first event very straightforward. Adding the second distance, not so much. The date was pre-set to 1 July rather than the same date as the first one I added. That ought to be an easy fix.

Feel free to delete them both as soon as possible in before anybody expects me to organise a really cheap 5k and 10k.

  • All worked well for me, adding the second event was straightforward

    5:17pm, 28th Jun 2024
  • That was pretty simple - although I've added events before. I don't think I had appreciated that if you copy a listing, you can change the distance, so I did the 5k that way, and then edited the title only. The option to do that was pretty clear. All done on my lap top - did you want a phone test as well?

  • I've done before -

from ipad this time, the only bit I've had trouble with is editing the name of the shorter event, I needed to delete and re-write just to change distance - can the box be bigger?

  • I've created events before for new races. I copied the new race entry listing and changed its distance to 5k, so very easy to do.

  • OK, getting started was a little awkward (on mobile, chrome browser) as I went to Race Finder first, and there was no obvious way to add a race until I went back up to just the Race page.

After that it was pretty straightforward, it quickly found my race location, and copying to a second race was simple, although perhaps when confirming the first race is added there could be a button to add another distance?

  • Hi Fetch,

I've added races in the past and it has seemed reasonably easy. I've also added several events that were part of a series of races. The option to "copy listing" worked really well.

The one thing I found a little tricky was when a race I'd listed had to be postponed. I've highlighted it in red on my list in this screenshot....

I couldn't work out how to change the date when a new date was given by the organisers after the original date had passed. I ended up having to leave the December date and create a completely new race entry for the March revised date. Perhaps it was something that I did. I'm not sure. 🤷‍♀️

  • I found it pretty straightforward, but I've done it several times before. Nonetheless, I managed to miss changing the first race to "trail". Tte least obvious thing perhaps is the actual text and link to add a listing in the first place. Maybe there should be a [BUTTON]?
    Dvorak
    8:11pm, 28th Jun 2024
  • Seems pretty straight forward, done from my mobile. I think making it more obvious where adding a race is would help. Could it have its own link in race drop down menu?
    George Smiley
    12:02pm, 29th Jun 2024
  • I think I managed to do that - although I probably didn't read the instructions well enough! I initially put in the date as 31st June (just because I could!) And it then saved it as 1st of July (when I probably meant 30Jun) [yes, I was deliberately trying to break it]
    Jen HB
    2:23pm, 29th Jun 2024
  • I found it reasonably straightforward - once I'd realised that I needed to add a second event with a different distance, rather than adding a second distance option to the same event. [And completely missed that it was supposed to be a trail race. Ah well.]

Here's something cool

2:29pm, 27 Jun 2024
As you may well know, I've been focusing a lot on updating the training entry view these last few weeks.

There was an intriguing Feature Request (#1698) from The great dollop:

"Auto Splits based on cadence. I would like to see my splits automagically set based on cadence when it changes significantly - so walking splits and running splits can be compared accordingly. great for fartleks and walk/recovery understanding."

Let's have a look at an example - a run I did back in 2019:

fetcheveryone.com/t-16312368

My notes for this run tell me that I did ten quarter mile efforts with two minute walk breaks between each.

I clearly didn't bother setting my watch up for this, so there's nothing in the 'notes and comments' that tells me how I did. One mile splits don't tell me nowt. Under the old system I could break the run into quarter mile splits, but that would only be useful if my walk breaks were quarter miles too.

But now... drum roll please... in the Splits options, there's now a 'Cadence' option in the dropdown. It breaks up your run based on a (currently fixed) threshold of 140 strides per minute. I haven't looked at the stats, but I know that my walking is typically 100-120, whilst my running is usually 160+. There's scope to let you adjust the figure to suit your needs in future, but hey, let's look at what you get first.

Feast your peepers on this:

or see it for real in my example training entry: fetcheveryone.com/training/16312368/cadence

Based on changes in cadence alone, it's extracted my efforts, and once that's done, it can calculate your pace etc for each effort. I think that's pretty cool.

It's not flawless by any means (and as always, share your bug reports relating to this in the comments) - here for example is the run around Coniston I did whilst K was swimming:

fetcheveryone.com/training/23280844/cadence

A bit of noise in the cadence data causes it to flip-flop a bit. I did take a few walks, and had a couple of stops on the narrow roads - but I reckon I can do some fine tuning to eliminate false flips.

Anyway... have a play, have fun. Stay radiant.

  • I'd be the same as Bowman, most of the intervals / reps I do are ones with jog recoveries, so wouldn't fall under 140, and I've got a reasonably high cadence anyway so wouldn't expect much lower than 160 for jogs. But if there was a slider to set the cut off point, I could see that working.

  • I had a look at the two efforts and recoveries sessions I did this month and found the same as Bowman, then re-read the blog and realised why. Same reason - I do jog rather than walk recoveries. My typical walking cadence is also over 140 so the cadence tab doesn't pick this up as Not Running on the few sessions of jeffing I did last year. I agree with larkim that being able to adjust the cut-off would be useful.

  • Works for me, probably as I walk recover. Also, more interesting you can see little differences in my cadence between lengths of efforts and particularly over a mile, but they didn't necessarily tie up to pace, so, wind, shortening stride. The changing pace is more noticeable, but the cadence is useful.

F'Laps - get togethers

8:14am, 26 Jun 2024
Morning folks.

An early morning shout out for F'Laps - here's what I'm taking as the definitive list:

fetcheveryone.com/flaps.php

I just want to give you all a last chance to bow in or bow out.

In terms of get togethers...

If you're thinking about hosting a few people for a get-together, have a look at the locations of everyone on the list, AND the amount of time they have estimated they will go on for. It looks like the Bedfordshire lot are mostly in the 7-12 hour bracket, and are about as many people as we can host without upsetting the neighbours I think.

How about you leave a comment on this blog to say if you're happy to host others, how many, and the upper time limit you can cope with. Tapping out after 6 hours, but then having someone coming back and fore to your house every hour for the next few days might be a bit of a challenge :-)

I'll also fmail this to everyone on the entry list. Ta.

Forum tagging

11:51am, 20 Jun 2024
I've amended the tagging system in the forum, so that if you write an '@' symbol, it will bring up a box where you can enter the name of the person you want to tag. And I've made some amendments so you can now tag people with two character nicknames - previously you'd have to type at least three characters into the box :-) As for the folks with just one character in their name - sorry :-)

That's it really. I hope it makes tagging easier for you.

F'Laps - your opportunity to withdraw gracefully :-)

10:41am, 19 Jun 2024
I had an idea about eight months ago which sounded great at the time. Mainly because it was eight months away :-) But the official date for F'Laps (6th July) is now approaching like a steam train. And it's not necessarily the best idea for me at the moment, as I still have a small bit of uncertainty about whether my legs have fully recovered from the 50k. They seem ok. And this would certainly be a way to find out :-)

So let's do it :-)

For those of you who know what a Backyard Ultra is, I don't need to explain what F'Laps is. For everyone else... you start at (say) 9am, and go out and run one of the distances we put forward. The choices are 1 mile, 2 miles, 5k or 4.167 miles (24 of which give you 100). Then at 10am you go do the same. And every hour after that until you've had a gutsful OR until you can't complete the lap in time to start the next one. You can step down into a lower distance category if you wish, or you can lie down and cry. In theory we'd have some 'last people standing' in each distance category who would be our F'Laps champions.

Because we're spread out all over the country, it'll all be done on trust. If you participate, you'd need to make sure you check in on FE and upload your GPS after each F'Lap so that the rubberneckers can watch you slowly crumple. I will try to build some sort of scoreboard where spectators can see your progress. In previous blogs, we decided that people could start their attempts at any point up until a latest starting time of midday. Ideally we'd all start at the same time, but we potentially have people running in different time zones, so we're just gonna have to put up with a bit of mystery until all the runs are in.

A whole bunch of you thought it'd be a good idea:

fetcheveryone.com/flaps.php

There's also a bunch of people who have joined the race listing:

fetcheveryone.com/races/f-laps-9233046

As you can see from the first list, people have suggested their distance choices, and added an approximate location. The latter means that in theory you could arrange a meet up with people near you. But hold that thought for just a wee bit longer.

We're just under two weeks away from the day. So now's your opportunity to withdraw gracefully :-) (or to sign up). You can remove yourself from the race listing, and there's a link at the bottom of the bigger list to remove yourself from that.

I'll give you 24 hours to get the frick out of Dodge, and then we can get planning with anyone foolish enough to still be interested :-)

Bing bong.

Usability - look what's changed

5:26pm, 18 Jun 2024
Thanks to everyone who joined in my usability experiment (see my earlier blog). It was very useful :-)

I wanted to find out how difficult (or easy) it was for you to plot and save a route. I included some sub-tasks, to get you looking around the interface.

A few things that came up:

1) some of the buttons and controls that surround the map could be better placed.

2) it was not obvious to everyone how to switch to satellite view
3) the functionality regarding following paths was annoying (you had to switch it on every time)

Here's the old version:

you can see the 'Map Layers', and 'Follow Paths' controls are in the bottom left; whilst the mileage indicator (and all the other buttons that appear when you start plotting a route) are in the top right. Similarly, I accept that 'Map Layers' is a slightly unfriendly term for those that are less au-fait with how maps are put together technically. And the 'Follow Paths' option was off by default *because* its use is subject to a quota system with a third-party service - if we do too much route plotting, it'll either stop working or I'll get charged. But I also accept that if the route planner is not very good without it, then that's not much cop.

So here's a newer version:

the map controls are now all up at the top, and I've worked on the wording. I think 'Map Options' is a bit more intriguing and obvious as a title. 'Follow Paths' is now on by default - let's see how we go - if you're not already donating to fetch, hello ;-) And the wording is also carefully managed so that on my five year old smartphone, those buttons at the top all fit across one line.

I hope that works well, but of course, you're all now experts in how to use the route plotter, so you should have no problems :-) If you enjoyed that, upthumb me in the comments, and I'll give you another site task to try out next time. Meanwhile, I will figure out some improvements to our user tagging system ;-)

You're absolutely crushing it. Shoulders back, lovelies.

  • Sharing the message I sent to Andy:

"One thing that *might* be happening is that I use two 'directions services' (the third party sites that provide a route between point A and point B). Each of them has a quota of free lookups, after which they either stop working entirely, or they start charging me. I primarily use openrouteservice.org (fixed quota), with the fallback being Google's direction service (chargeable after a certain number of requests). Given the extra interest in the route plotter yesterday, and with the default now set to 'follow paths', it's possible that I burned through my quota with openrouteservice, so Fetch switched to using Google. Each will have slightly different routing databases.

If that theory is right, then hopefully things will settle back to normal today, or maybe in the next couple of days once my blog disappears into the past. Maybe test a few paths today to see how it goes, and let me know."

RW Refugees welcomed

12:42pm, 18 Jun 2024
When Fetcheveryone first began, I would hang around a bit on the Runner's World forum. The first Fetchies were people who saw me talking about Fetcheveryone there. I had barely glanced at it since about 2010. But it was still a surprise on Wednesday last week to hear that they were shutting the whole thing down (and with only about three days notice for its users). I have (of course) welcomed anyone from there who would like a place to call home - so you'll maybe have seen some new posters in our threads. It's like the antithesis of a Daily Mail headline: "RW refugees welcomed" :-) I hope they'll settle in and enjoy the Fetch way of doing things, but equally I hope we can embrace the cultural differences :-) So far so good - and many of them had long-standing accounts here anyway.

But a bunch of new users keen to use the forum bring great opportunities to improve the usability of Fetcheveryone. For example, one user tried to upload a new avatar - but because his browser had cached the default 'head and shoulders' image, to him it looked as though it hadn't worked. And another user tried to type the '@' symbol in the forum as a way of tagging someone - whereas on Fetch there's a 'tag user' button.

All these little peculiarities of Fetch are things that long-standing users may be fully acclimatised to. It's only when viewed through the eyes of new users that the non-intuitive aspects of the site come to the fore. Providing a smooth and welcoming experience for new users (without pissing off existing users!!) is the first step to ensuring they become regulars who are willing to contemplate supporting the site.

With that in mind, I thought I'd set a usability challenge. The idea is that I'll give you a small task; and as you attempt it, you make a few notes on how easy/difficult it is to accomplish. You don't have to write an essay - just stuff like "I couldn't find the button to do X" or "the formatting for this bit looked weird on my phone" or "I don't know where to start" could well be helpful.

Today's Task
Your running buddies have asked you to plan a road route from Wellingborough to Northampton through some little villages in between. One of your friends is a fan of crop circles, so you need to check the satellite view to see if there are any nearby. Another friend is wondering if there are any toilets on the route. Plot and save a route, then export a GPX file that you can send to your friends. NB this isn't a test of your route planning skills. You can pick the route at random :-)

Stuff I'm looking for
Do you know your way to the route planner?
Can you figure out how to get the map to show your starting location?
Is it obvious how you plot a route?
Can you figure out how to switch to the satellite view?
Can you figure out how to view toilets on our plotter?
Do you know what to do if you make mistakes?
Is it obvious how to save it?
And once saved, is it clear how to export it to GPX?
Plus any quirks of functionality or layout you might experience on your computer / laptop / phone.

What's the goal?
The ideal outcome for me is to find something that makes the tool a turn-off for people. I'm not really looking for obscure circumstances that lead to bugs. It's more about finding little tweaks that will make this tool more understandable for everyone - whether that's little changes in wording or layout, or opportunities for the site to provide a bit of guidance throughout the process.

Obviously, if you use the route planner a lot, and if all of this seems second-nature to you, then you don't need to participate. The ideal participants are those who are unsure about it; or who have never used it before.

Thank you for your time. You're moving through time and space with the effortless grace of a champion today.

  • I'll come back to the challenge. Homework - needs a little time! I still try to use the "@" to tag people - and I've never done that on the RW forums! (I was only on there for a couple of years, pre-Fetch, early running life!). I think @ is pretty commonplace across MS products as well as in things like Jira etc..

  • Just had a go, not doing the exact route suggested.
I think getting to the route planner is fairly intuitive, but I've used it plenty before.
I did have to think where toilets and satellite view were and I'm not sure that would be obvious to others.
The toilet symbols are not that clear on satellite view.
I know how to clear mistakes, so no comment.
Export to GPX wasn't that obvious, but I managed it.

  • I failed to find any crop circles. Other than diverting via Pewsey ...
But everything else was fine*, but there again I do use it quite bit.

*although the OSM maps, here and elsewhere on the site do seem to take an age. I know it may not be in your power, but is there anything I can do to speed it up? (flushing cache, making a pot of tea while I wait etc)

And a warning that OSM does sometime have little glitches - paths that don't meet, bridges that can't be crossed etc. So if a route suddenly decides on a massive detour, it's probably just a small section that needs 'follow paths' turned off.

  • 1 - I didn't know there was a route planner, sorry. I had never looked.
2 - I didn't plot the route in your brief but I did plot my planned route for this Sunday's run.
3 - I found it really easy to use and not too fiddly considering I was on my phone.

4 - could find satellite views and toilets options easily.

5 - I wanted the total elevation, couldn't see that until I'd saved the route, so that's fine.

  • I use the route planner a lot, and can do most of those things. As LazyDaisy says, I get mildly irritated when the map stops following the path I want it to (I presume some of the paths I want to follow aren't recognised as paths, and there is nothing that can be done about this), and I have to scroll down to switch "follow paths" off, then scroll up to "undo".

I also find editing previous parts of the route I am creating close to impossible. But I might just be a bit thick.

  • I use it a lot and could do your task. The one thing that bugs me is 'follow paths' defaults to Off which I would like to see changed. Also, like someone above I have never really tried editing a map (I just undo to the point I want to change) so maybe that needs explaining a bit more.
    chunkywizard
    1:58pm, 18th Jun 2024
  • @chunkywizard - The reason it defaults to off is one of cost. If I exceed my quota of "follow roads" (which is a third-party lookup), it costs money I don't have.

    lammo
    2:05pm, 18th Jun 2024
  • @jacdaw - not much I can do about the underlying route options. But you mention having to scroll to reach the buttons at top and bottom. Is that on a phone, or a smaller screen? I can certainly amend the button layout, or look at making the map less tall on smaller screens. As for editing - maybe that's for another day.

@lazydaisy - likewise I can look at uniting the buttons. The reasoning behind pushing the map controls to the four corners is that they are less likely to interfere with the action in the centre.

@um - I don't think I can do anything about the load time for the map tiles unfortunately.

@grast_girl - do you have any suggestions for alternate naming for the layers?

  • I use the route planner a bit - I knew about map layers for Fetchpoint purposes. I didn't know there was a Satellite option. I have never got the "Detour" (which I think is how you would fix mistakes) to work. And I haven't again today. Always end up with an extra loop with a blue straight line or none of the purple dots activating. Not sure what I am supposed to do. Or the detour ends up as a new point on the end of my route...

Frequently end up exporting GPX's between Fetch, Garmin and OSMaps until I've got what I want, on an app or device I can follow while I'm out.

On my Windows 11 laptop (too fiddly on a phone to even try), Edge browser.

OH HANG ON - I just got a pop up about eliminating the cyan line .. what is this sourcery? (Cyan, that takes me back to the ZXSpectrum!)

Yeah nope I've made a right pigs ear of that... I think some instructions would be lovely (Which Purple dot should I choose? Why did I only see the Cyan message once despite having a couple of goes at this?), or just picking up and dragging the dots (like Garmin Courses, sorry!) (Doesn't help that it defaults to Follow Paths being "Off" so invariably I will draw a straight line in the first instance).

  • @jacdaw and others: OSM mapping is all open source and you can go in and correct errors, join disconnected paths and add missing detail. You can edit maps directly or upload GPXs of runs to use as a template. https://www.openstreetmap.org/.

Happy with the various bits of the task but suspect it could be harder on a small screen (and another vote for the common UX of @ tagging users, and using > for quotation levels)

Is it obvious how you plot a route? I think so but I'd used it a lot already.

Can you figure out how to switch to the satellite view? Id forgotten it was possible to do that but found it quite easily.

Can you figure out how to view toilets on our plotter? Yes.
Do you know what to do if you make mistakes? Yes
Is it obvious how to save it? I think so.
And once saved, is it clear how to export it to GPX? I didn't do that bit. Will try it some time.

  • honestly, the route plotting functionality is the most powerful feature of FE. Now that you've added in the ability to overlay fetchpoint as well as conquercise I'm not sure how it could be better. I also *really* appreciate it that you made the changes so that it can be used much more frequently now - I'd say I use it 3 or 4 times a day on average. Perhaps it'd be better for you Ian if I wasn't a FE user?!

The tagging thing on the forums on the other hand. OMG, I try, fail, get pissed off and then give up. Every time....

Oscar's Everyone Day

12:35pm, 13 Jun 2024
Back in November 2021, Oscar the Grouch came up with a great idea in his blog: fetcheveryone.com/blog/9803/2021/11/438330

Sadly, we lost Oscar very suddenly in March of this year. As such I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him and the inspiration he gave us to come together and get moving.

A totaliser will appear on the site in the next few days, and on Oscar's Everyone Day it will record the total distance we all cover on the day. It doesn't matter what it is - whether it's running, walking, cycling, swimming, or anything else. You might notice the figures go above zero before the 23rd, but that's because Australia/NZ get a half day head start on us.

Oscar's hope was to promote Fetcheveryone, and the benefits of exercise in general. So if you can persuade family or friends out for a walk or a bike ride - or anything that gets folks moving - that'd be lovely.

Last year we got about three quarters of the way around the earth.

I've created a thread where you can share your plans, and your 'ooh's and 'aah's as the totaliser goes past round numbers: fetcheveryone.com/forum/oscar-apos-s-everyone-day---sunday-june-23rd-2024-63073

Thank you. RIP Oscar.

New training entry view is live

4:37pm, 10 Jun 2024
Hello :-)

I've finally put the updated training entry page live. It's not perfect by any means, but I've discovered that beta pages only get you so much feedback. There's nothing quite like changing live stuff to get people noticing :-) NB a few of you said that you would like to keep doing things the old way. I've left the old version of the page accessible for now. I can potentially just leave it accessible permanently, BUT it'll be "as is" i.e. I won't update it.

I'll just run through the main stuff that's changed:

1) there's a new 'multigraph' which replaces the individual pace, cadence, altitude, and power graphs. It defaults to just showing your pace line, but the buttons just above the graph allow you to toggle the other stuff on and off.

2) The multigraph is zoomable, so you can select a specific part of it to see your stats for that particular section of your run. When you zoom in, some stats in the lower-left corner of the graph show you the distance you've selected, the average pace, average HR etc.

3) There's a 'Fastest...' dropdown above the multigraph, which lets you select the benchmarks you recorded on this run. When you do so, the map and graph zoom in to show you the section of the run where these happened. NB you can still access your benchmarks in clickable form further down the page!

4) The 'Splits' section now combines the splits graph and the splits table. And there's now just one simple dropdown that allows you to specify the size of the splits. It contains options for splitting by distance; and by time.

5) There's a new option in that splits dropdown. It's available *if* your watch has recorded splits that look interesting. For example, my watch records a split every mile. This is *not* interesting :-) However, when you do an interval session, you might have splits that look like "1 mile warmup, (400m fast, 60s rest) x 10, 1 mile cooldown". These *are* interesting splits - so when this data is available, you'll see a 'Watch' option in the splits dropdown.

Here's an example of what the 'Watch' option looks like for an interval session:

You'll notice that the columns are different widths depending on how much distance was covered; and different heights (and colours) depending on the pace. And below the graph, you get that information in tabular form. I'm pretty pleased with it.

6) All the graphs and bits of analysis that you would have seen on the right hand side of the old page have been gathered together in a section titled 'Further Analysis'. For example, you can see the pace, HR and cadence distributions; and a breakdown of your run/walk percentage (my current favourite bit of the website). It's in this section that you'll find those clickable benchmarks.

7) And to give you all some flexibility, you can now re-order the sections; and decide which ones to show or hide. If you go to Profile > Account Settings > Training Options > Rearrange your training entry view it brings you here: fetcheveryone.com/training-visualelements-reorder.php - where you can turn the individual chunks on and off, and drag them up and down to prioritise the stuff that interests you.

And that's about it. I have looked at dozens of different runs, rides, swims and walks, to try to find situations that break the graphs - but there is NO substitute for you and the very individual way you use your log.

I hope you like the new version of the page. If you hit problems, you can report them in the comments, or via the feedback link. Please make sure you provide a link to any training entry you report :-)

  • Just so I understand, what's the backend logic that chooses between "interesting" splits and "uninteresting" ones? If I used (say) 0.5m autolaps, would that be uninteresting? Or is it only if the watch laps are inconsistent?
    larkim
    4:45pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • It's only if they are inconsistent. It's a storage consideration - otherwise there are millions of e.g. (1,1,1,1,1,1,0.43). If your splits are consistent, you can just choose the relevant size from the dropdown.
    fetcheveryone
    4:48pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • That is awesome! Thanks!
I do miss the “best bits/fastest” boxes in the top I hope we can get it back.
Also I prefer to have splits divided between table and graph. And not everything together.
Then one can choose what to take up real estate with.

    5:57pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • I'm liking it but the 'watch' option vanishes if you split an entry. I often do a programmed workout that has warm up, session, cool down as a single run then split the entry so that I can compare the session part with other similar sessions. Would be nice to have the 'interesting' splits too.
    westmoors
    6:29pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • I don't know if this has been mentioned already but I noticed today that the multigraph's y axis displays pace even when pace is switched off, don't suppose this could be made responsive? Otherwise the new page is much better 👌

    7:33pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • Hi Fetch, not sure the interesting splits bit is working for me. This is an interval session but I’m still getting 1Km splits rather than the intervals
    chunkywizard
    8:11pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • You have to choose ‘Watch’ in the drop-down.
    fetcheveryone
    8:42pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • Thanks, missed that. Can I make that the default (or can you remember the last chosen option?). A couple of other things. On the splits bar chart you number the intervals starting from 1 but this isn’t referenced in the text list. Could you have the same reference on both? The other thing I noticed is, if you click a bar then pace is displayed but the value is incorrect (it doesn’t match the text list)
    chunkywizard
    9:53pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • Another request if I may. On the pop up on the bar chart and the text list can you display the interval length pls? For example in the pic below interval 19 is an 800m but you can only work that out by checking the difference between the distances.

    chunkywizard
    10:00pm, 10th Jun 2024
  • The only thing that isn't perfect for me is what Westmoors described - losing the "watch" splits when the activity is split using the split/trim functionality. Programming an activity for the watch is great when actually doing a session, but stripping them down for reference later on here is really useful too. Would be great to have all of the same processing of watch laps etc done when an activity is split. Feature request needed?
    larkim
    8:29am, 11th Jun 2024
  • Another thing I have noticed, on the multigraph the pace line finishes short.
