Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

ARB73 Enjoyable, although tough'ish course. Nothing too troubling in terms of hills but far from flat :-) No fault of the organisers but due to the weather some of the off road sections were quite mucky making it a wee bit slippy. Didn't like the stairs at the end though. Well organised race I thought. If being constructively critical, a couple of areas could have done with more signs or marshalls as, with no-one immediately in front of me (not because I was leading lol), I found myself looking around for where to go but on the whole, for the inaugural race I thought it was good. Cake spread at the end was fab!!!!

Unfortunately for me I seem to have a bit of a cold working on me although wasn't conscious of it during the race. My watch time 01:51:07. Estimated about 1:50 beforehand so not too bad considering I lost about a minute waiting to cross the road after coming out of Bellahouston park.

A nice mix of road and trail sections and different distance from most other races all made it a little bit different from the norm and a new race for the calendar.

linda c Really enjoyed the race. Tough course, muddy bits, hills and bloody steps. Killer end! Well organised though, soup and cakes superb. Great race.
