DrBob race smooth from the start, worked with leading group through to 4k, then faded a bit. Passed half way in 17.12 (PB for 5K), finished fairly strong but wish I had worked a little harder over the last couple of k to get sub 35.

TROSaracen 41:00 will be a PB. Well happy with 39:52 (unofficial) - Garmin said 39:49 but I passed the timer at 39:52 so officially should get that give or take a second. Whilst the course was flat, it was pretty hot, there some tight turns and that footbridge near the end was a killer! Please to see another couple of fetches run well (Girlie's first sub 1hour).

Unusually for me I ran a very well paced race with km splits 3:54, 3:49, 4:05, 3:57, 3:58, 4:01, 4:01, 3:58, 4:02, 4:02. Have to see it was touch and go at around 7kms but then we entered a stretch through the woods where it was cool and out of the sun and that got me in good shape for the desperate last 2km of pain!

Fantastic feeling to go sub 40 though, and a PB by 1 min 23 seconds.

KinkyS Watch time, official time likely to be a few seconds slower but clock was still sub 45 for sure. Rather disappointed TBH - struggled right from the off, slowed badly towards the end too. Suffered with the heat and stomach issues, and legs felt like they had nothing in them at the end of 2 hard weeks of training. Suppose I shouldn't complain too much - it's still less than 45 minutes in far from ideal circumstances...

Javthrower Wanted to run between 56 and 58 so was pleased. Right in the middle. Went off too fast compared to the last two races. Did just over 5 minutes for first two KM whereas I did around 6 minutes for first couple of KMs in last two raes. Want to try and hit 5.30 per KM. But this is last 10km of the season.

E A bit of a rubbish race. My performance was very bad. It was a very hot day and that's the best excuse I can come up with. A pb, only just, but not a silver time.

ButterflyLou (MrsMothy) Hoping for a PB again! Post race - down as a DNS but actually did start just didn't finish! Very warm, started way too fast, couldn't breathe and leggies tired after a long week. Sorry to all who lost their bets but didn't want you to get complacent!!

Girlie No excuses did Eye Charity 5 in sub 48 mins, so should get the coveted sub 60 here, esp with the lovely Fenland encouraging/booting my ar$3 round! He has programmed Garmin for this time, so whatever happens should go sub 60 anyway:-)
***UPDATE**** unoffical time at moment 59:45, but definitely sub 60 mins:-) Paced excellently by Fenland, shame I couldn't maintain the pace int he first half, although did sneak an accidental 5k pb as well( whoops!) Gave EVERYTHING in this race, couldn't have tried any harder tbh. Weather quite warm which had an effect.
