frizzle A very flat course but really humid!! Was bang on track up to 2k .....and then dropped down a notch and kept that pace til the end! Was a little disappointed with my time until some friendly club member pointed out that there were 200 runners behind me!!! It's not all bad!!!

Marts Bit of a curry race (can be hot and windy) but well organised. Is out and back so you can support fellow runners whilst running yourself which is nice :) UPDATE. well chuffed. don't know why I predicted 37:30 cos too hot for that but did 38:20 finished 17th of 501 and worked hard to keep my top 20 place once I'd got it at 6k. Last 2k stopped me breaking 38mins but v pleased. Was 2nd in Age group (they did 5 yr age groups like triathlon). Course best by 1m19s

PlodderRW Hot. Sun not always out and the odd bit of breeze, but stopped pushing at 6K to 'enjoy' the rest of the race. Walked a wobbly line from the finish to the car...a rare positive split, first 5K in 23.52.
