Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

AlanO Hooooorendous race. Caught the cold in the week running into it which was a bummer as I had trained for 2 months for this race. Batteries totally flat and found over 100 runners pass me in the first 2 laps. Beaten by guys I normally beat by minutes. Rallied a wee bit in the last lap and actually overtook 6 people. Finished up the day lying on my sofa shivering with a jacket on. The sacrifices you make for your running club. Splits (approx) - 15.50, 16.50, 16.44.

Boab Watch time for now. Boy do I hate XC. Started off way to fast and developed a stitch on the second lap. Still 2 minutes quicker than last year, with the added climb so happy about that. Give me a flat hard road any day though!!!!

Hamsterwheel First time at this race or in any race with this size of feild so the start was fun trying to get some space to run but after that it was just a hard slog but happy enough at my time.

hannkies Felt I ran fairly decent, if anything I had a bit left at the end. Never, ever going to be great at Cross Country but this was one of my better ones and I'm probably getting close to decent shape ahead of the Road Racing season. Without a shadow of a doubt my favourite XC course, and as ever the race was organised superbly. Finished 107th.

RichyC (164th place) Pleased with my run today, almost 3 and a half minutes quicker than last year. Prob went off too quick but averaged about 6.30 pace so happy with that. Definitely a stronger performance today than my usual xc efforts.
