Cmontheaccies helped cambuslang vets team to Gold medal and new vets course record.top ten position over all.great tem performance,i ran 30.36 to finish strongly and felt i ran at a comfortable pace through out the run,did not push too hard as calf and hamstring stoped me training last 5 days before race,easy now to let injuries recover.

hannkies 30 secs faster than last year and 5 seconds outside my best for the course so seems to have been a decent run. 2nd Leg, definately a tough wee course, but dug in and pleased enough without doing cartwheels. Good conditions today, and as ever a very well organised and attended event.

May happy with run as not done any speed work for at least 6 months 7.07 7.11 6.54 6.16 forgot split so 11.55(for last 1.8m) legs feeling good think we finished 10th female team waiting on offical results/wava score jumped up so v pleased given shite running of late: )

KazzA First time doing this race, was given last leg and I was quite looking forward to it after running well recently. But I was done in after first (rather conservative) mile and had nothing to give. Struggled round course at a pace considerably slower than my HM a few weeks ago. Very disappointed, especially with it being a relay :( Not sure what happened but if this is what a bad race feels like I think I will just enjoying running without them.
